The Nappy Collective Inc. Collection Point – Terms and Conditions 

By registering to become a Collection point, you personally and on behalf of the organisation, as applicable (‘you’) acknowledge and agree that:

  1. You will collect and store nappies delivered by persons on behalf of The Nappy Collective Inc (‘TNC’) at TNC authorised premises (‘Collection Points’);

  2. The Collection Point must be a public premise or accessible to the public. Under no circumstances will TNC be responsible for nappies collected at private residences;

  3. Year-round Collection Points will only collect and store nappies in a collection box purchased through and authorised for use by a committee member of TNC;

  4. The nappies donated by a person are and at all times remain the property of TNC;

  5. Any and all donations received for TNC are only to be collected by a TNC authorised representative;

  6. You will ensure that an authorised representative appointed by your organisation is responsible for the collection and storage of nappies at the Collection Point in accordance with these terms and conditions;

  7. All intellectual property in the materials used for the purpose of the Collective and containing TNC’s logo is owned by TNC and remains the property of TNC and any use of the relevant logo, words or marks requires the prior written consent of TNC;

  8. TNC is not liable for any loss or damage that results from the delivery or handling of nappies at the Collection Point;

  9. You release and indemnify TNC from any and all claims and liability associated with the Collective, a breach of these terms and conditions and/or transportation of the nappies (as applicable) unless directly caused by the negligence of TNC;

  10. You will maintain an appropriate policy of public liability insurance and any other relevant insurances at the Collection Point;

  11. If you deliver nappies and/or storage boxes to a premises authorised by TNC, you must have appropriate policies of insurance covering any loss or damage to property or injury to persons during transportation; and

  12. You must notify an authorised representative of TNC of:

a) any misuse of the storage boxes, including but not limited to the disposal of unhygienic nappies in the storage box;

b) any matter which may result in death or injury; and

c) in the event that the storage box is full of donations

d) in the event that a storage box requires replacement or repair.
