Kennards Self Storage Helps Thousands of Families Through Partnership with The Nappy Collective

For the third consecutive year, Kennards Self Storage has provided vital support for our Clean Bums for Little Ones campaign, giving us the storage capacity needed to receive, manage and distribute hundreds of thousands of donated nappies.

This year, Kennards generously provided storage units across 15 locations in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. These units became essential local hubs where our volunteers could safely receive and store nappies collected through the campaign before coordinating their distribution to community partners.

With Kennards’ support, we were able to safely store and distribute more than 260,000 nappy donations—enough to help over 8,600 families experiencing hardship across Australia.

For The Nappy Collective, access to storage is critical. We do not have warehouses of our own, yet our campaigns generate significant volumes of donations from collection points, members of the public and our nappy brand partners.

Once collected, every donation must be safely stored while our volunteers sort, count and repackage the nappies. We then allocate and distribute them to community partners so they can reach families as quickly as possible.

Without suitable storage, we cannot accept donations at this scale. Kennards gives our volunteers secure, accessible locations to bring nappies together and provides the space we need to coordinate their next journey into the community.
