We collect your leftover unused disposable nappies and redistribute them to organisations that support families in crisis or in need.
Collections run for two weeks in MAY & October.
Do you have leftover unused disposable nappies lying around? Drop them off at your nearest designated collection points whilst the collective is on or contact us if there are none nearby.
At the end of the two week collective the nappies are sorted, packed and swiftly distributed to organisations that support families in crisis or in need.

Nappies are a basic healthcare need and lack of sufficient nappies can lead to an array of problems for disadvantaged families. So when you donate your spare nappies, you help these families to focus more of their time and energy on getting their lives back on track.
Providing nappies to our mums reduces a financial burden and frees up time and energy to focus on their parenting and other daily challenges they face
A handful of leftover nappies may not mean much to you or me, but collectively we can make a huge difference.
Thank you to our amazing supporters and sponsors listed above who have provided us with material assistance, pro bono services, advice and in kind support to make The Nappy Collective successful, we are incredibly grateful for your time, energy, knowledge and enthusiasm.
Of course we also couldn't do what we do without the vital assistance of our drop points. We have a national community of over 200+ dynamic businesses supporting us as drop points, to see this list please click the Collection tab on our menu.
McAuley Care is simply overwhelmed by the generosity and incredible efforts of the Nappy Collective! Thanks to you, our safe house is able to provide nappies to 66 babies and toddlers - that's close to $2000 worth of nappies! Many women and children who seek refuge from family violence flee their homes with nothing, so your support means the world to them, and to us!
Every week we see teenage mum’s who don’t have enough money for food or transport, who are near homeless. The Nappy Collective gave Whitelion a supply of nappies that we drove around to deliver – it was amazing how big the smiles on their faces were from just this simple gesture. A lot of them said what a huge relief it was not to have to put money aside for nappies for a while
Safe Futures Foundation benefits from the amazing generosity of the Nappy Collective. We are incredibly grateful to you, and your long list of volunteers. The nappies donated have provided our beautiful mothers who come to us, seeking refuge from family violence, one less thing to worry about. With a long list of needs, it’s nice to be able to tick one thing off the list. Never underestimate the impact of the work you do, and how far reaching the effect of that work is. On behalf of our staff and our amazing mums and children we have the privilege of working with, thank you!

The Nappy Collective is a collaborative community initiative run by volunteers.
We are a group of mums who found a handful of nappies that our toddlers did not fit into anymore. After considering the options of what to do with only six nappies – pass them onto a friend? Keep them for the next child? Throw them out - what a waste! - we began to wonder if there were other parents out there that also had a handful or even half a box of nappies they were unable to use. What if we were able to collect all these left over nappies and distribute them to families in crisis or in need? Collectively these handfuls of nappies could make a big difference.
In October 2013, we launched our first Nappy Collective via Facebook. With the wonderful support of The Staple Store (our first drop off site), we were overwhelmed with the response. Within two weeks, over 1500 nappies had been collected. The Nappy Collective was born.
Since then, our collectives have expanded around Australia, bringing our total tally of nappies collected to date to over700,000! Stay tuned for the results of our May 2016 Collective, our biggest ever with 400 official drop points in 39 towns and cities across Australia.
